Mary has been a teacher at Bright Days Preschool since the fall of 2002, and became Director in 2007. Mary joined the Bright Days Community in 1995 with the enrollment of her first child. All four of her children have since graduated from Bright Days. Mary holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Santa Clara University, an Associate of Science in Early Childhood from West Valley College, as well as her Child Development Director Permit.
Amanda began working at Bright Days in January 2019. She has been a parent at Bright Days since her son started in the 2's class in 2017. Prior to coming to teach at Bright Days Amanda has worked as a Nanny and in child care centers since 2009. After taking a couple of years off from working to start her family she is excited to be working as a teacher's aid while working to complete her early childhood education program.

Amy began teaching at Bright Days in the Spring of 2010. Both of her children attended Bright Days Preschool, which led her to fall in love with the program and want to be a part of educating young children within its philosophy. Through her life experiences, Amy has gained a passion for supporting and advocating for the educational needs of children with learning delays. Amy studied Child Development at San Jose State and De Anza College, and holds a Child Development Teacher Permit.
YBK Teacher (M, W, F)
Gina began working at Bright Days in the fall of 2019. She has been a Bright Days parent since 2015. Gina currently has a student in the Multi-Age class, and her older two children both graduated from the program. Gina holds a BA in Child and Adolescent Development from San Jose State University as well as a multiple subject teaching credential. Prior to joining Bright Days, Gina worked as an elementary teacher and later earned a Master's in Taxation and has worked as a tax accountant. She is excited to be back in the classroom working with children.
Kate began working at Bright Days in the spring of 2019 and her children have attended since 2016. Kate worked in sales and marketing before joining Bright Days and has a BA in English from CalPol San Luis Obispo. Kate is passionate about supporting young children as they grow and explore the world. She believes all children are capable, intelligent and deserving of the same respect we give adults. Kate enjoys sharing her love of books and nature with children. She is working to complete her early childhood education program.
YBK Teacher (T, Th)
Katrina joined the Bright Days staff in the Fall of 2012. She has one child who graduated from the Bright Days program. Prior to working at Bright Days, Katrina worked at the YMCA in childcare and as a supervisor for seven years. In addition she has experience as a nanny for over ten years. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from San Jose State University and received her Early Childhood Education units from De Anza.
Multi Age Teacher (T, Th)
Kristi began at Bright Days in the winter of 2012. Prior to working at Bright days Kristi worked for nine years at a private nonprofit preschool in San Jose. She took time off of teaching to have a family and now has two school age children and one in college. Kristi holds an Associate of Arts in Early Childhood Education from West Valley College.

Laura began teaching at Bright Days in the Fall of 2015. Laura was introduced to Bright Days as her niece and nephews attended the program. After working in retail management for eleven years, Laura followed her passion of working with young children to complete her early childhood schooling and join the Bright Days staff. Laura earned her Early Childhood units at Foothill College.
Twos Teacher (M, T, W, Th, F)
Lisa began teaching at Bright Days in the fall of 2008. Prior to working at Bright Days, Lisa had over 20 years teaching experience working with young children at a number of local Community Center Preschools. Lisa holds an Associate of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education from San Jose City College as well as a Child Development Site Supervisor Permit. Lisa brings a love of curriculum planning and enjoys attending continuing education courses, workshops, and seminars throughout the year.

Malory joined the Bright Days teaching staff in the fall of 2019. She has a two year old daughter and five year old son. She graduated with her Bachelors in Health Science with a minor in Child Development from San Jose State University.
Meggen joined the Bright Days teaching staff in fall of 2019. Her two youngest children attended the program from 2016-2019. Meggen returned to teaching after a six year break from the classroom to spend time at home with her three children. She previously spent nine years teaching 2nd and 5th grades. Meggen received her degree in Business from Hartwick College in NY and her Masters in Early Childhood Education from Lesley University in Boston.

Monica began teaching at Bright Days in the winter of 2019. She has always had a passion for teaching and has had many experiences in different aspects of child development. She has three children who she loves to spend time with when she’s not at BD. Monica previously worked at a couple of local private preschools as well as worked as a nanny She has over 20 years of teaching experience and received her child development credits from DeAnza college.

Nina has been a teacher at Bright Days Preschool since the fall of 1996. Prior to working at Bright Days, Nina worked in the Children’s Center of West Valley College for five years. Nina holds an Associate of Science Degree in Child Studies and a Certificate of Proficiency in Early Childhood Education, both from West Valley College, as well as her Child Development Associate Teacher Permit.
Multi Age Teacher (M, T, W, Th, F)
Wendy began working at Bright Days in the Fall of 2010. Prior to joining the Bright Days team Wendy taught English in Spain and Italy and also worked as a Museum Educator for the city of Campbell. Wendy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Spanish from Cal State Fullerton and earned her Early Childhood Education units from West Valley, as well as her Child Development Associate Teacher Permit.
